This workshop will review copyright issues surrounding the input and training for Generative AI, and the generated output. What kinds of materials can be used in Generative AI tools and what are the copyright and licensing implications you need to be thinking about? Can a Gen AI user be responsible for any copyright infringements related to the use of the Gen AI tool? Can anyone own the output created by Generative AI?
