Description: This hands-on session provides an overview of GIS and how it can be used in research. Participants will learn about best practices and guidelines for conducting their own research. Learners will get a hands-on opportunity to explore the Libraries instance of ArcGIS Online and interact with a project.

Learning Objectives: In this workshop participants will:

  • Gain an overview of GIS as applied to research visualization
  • Discover resources to support research
