This session provides a tour of three RDM tools available at the University of Manitoba, that cover some of the basic utilities to get started. The Research Data Storage Finder is a tool to support the decision of where to store your data. UM Dataverse is a repository that can store data for sharing, collaborative or preservation purposes. Finally, the DMP Assistant tool is a Canadian resource designed to support Data management plan creation. If RDM is completely new to you, consider attending “Introduction to Research Data Management“ before this session.

In this workshop participants will:

  • Explore DMP Assistant
  • Compare research data storage resources using the Research Data Storage Finder
  • Learn more about UM Dataverse as one example of a repository available to researchers at University of Manitoba
