It is designed to enhance researchers' skills in navigating the platform, discovering relevant resources, analyzing publishing trends, and tracking citations. Whether you are a student or researcher, this session will help you make the most of Scopus to support your academic goals. In this workshop, you will learn about the purposes for which Scopus is best suited. The session will include hands-on activities and practical tips; you are encouraged to come with your own research topic!

In this session, participants will:

  • Navigate the Scopus Interface: Understand the layout and key features of Scopus, including search functionalities and personalized settings.
  • Perform Advanced Searches: Use filters, Boolean operators, and other advanced techniques to refine search results and find relevant literature.
  • Analyze Research Trends: Explore citation trends, topic insights, and author profiles to identify key contributors and emerging areas of research.
  • Manage References: Export citations and integrate Scopus data with reference management tools.
  • Track and Collaborate: Set up alerts, monitor authors or topics of interest, and use Scopus to identify potential collaborators.
