The Open Science Framework (OSF) is a free, online platform to manage your research project throughout all stages of the research lifecycle. OSF can be used to document, archive, share project documentation and data, register research plans and protocols, and publish your work as a preprint.

This workshop will cover three aspects of OSF: getting started and creating an account, OSF Projects, and OSF Registries and Preprints. Come setup and manage your research projects by using OSF!

At the end of this workshop, attendees will be able to:

  • Understand the purpose of the Open Science Framework.
  • Create an Open Science Framework project.
  • Publish a research plan or protocol and preprint on the Open Science Framework.
