SciFinder-n, a powerful research tool, is not just limited to chemists. It holds a treasure trove of chemical literature covering various disciplines, from biology and environmental science to food science and beyond. In this workshop, we will demystify SciFinder's features, help you create a SciFinder-n account if you don’t have one yet and get started using this expansive scientific information tool. This workshop is designed for advanced undergraduate, graduate students and faculty.

 

In this session, participants will:

  • Learn how to search by topic
  • Learn how to narrow and refine topics by concept, date, format and more
  • Search for information on chemical substances and find physical property information
