Students in the Social Sciences and Humanities often need to find sources for their papers, but are not always taught how to do that. This online session will fill that gap by providing an overview of the search process, starting with your topic, deciding where to search for more information, some tips and tricks for searching more efficiently, and how to keep track of your sources so it’s easier to cite them later.
Participants will:
- Learn how to perform preliminary searches and refine search strategy as needed
- Choose the best search tools based on your topic
- Keep track of sources found to cite later
