Open Scholarship in the Humanities and Social Sciences

Please register below. A link will be sent to you prior to the event.

"Open science? Don’t they just do that in the sciences?" Open scholarship, or open science, affects all researchers in all disciplines. Learn about increasing transparency in research, increasing access to your publications, and how to use open tools throughout your research practice. As a Humanities or Social Sciences researcher, you too can use open scholarship initiatives in your research.

By the end of this workshop, we will:
• Describe open scholarship and its underlying principles
• Review open scholarship initiatives throughout the Humanities and Social Sciences research lifecycles
• Identify services provided by UML librarians to support your open research.
