This workshop will provide an introduction to the history of the Open Access movement and the princples and practices of Open Access, with a focus on the sciences. The value of Open Access will also be discussed, and participant will discover how to find and identify Open Access resources.
Participants will become familiar with the history and principles of the Open Access movement, will learn about the value of Open Access and the current challenges facing the movement, and will learn how to identify, use, and publish Open Access resources.
