Zotero is an open-source reference management tool that first emerged in 2004 as a browser plug-in with the introduction of Mozilla Firefox, an open-source Internet browser.  Since then, Zotero evolved into a user-friendly companion for researchers, successfully accommodating in the increasingly open-access scholarly communication environments. This session will cover how to set up an account, configure a Zotero client, and use it to gather sources  and create in-text citations and bibliographies.  The session will refer to the current Zotero 5 but briefly mention some positive improvements with Zotero 6's introduction anticipated by the end of 2021.
