The Academic Learning Centre offers tutor training for content tutors at the University of Manitoba. This training involves two online sessions on January 16th and 23rd. Training focuses on the role of a tutor, the tutoring cycle, scaffolding strategies, intercultural tutoring, and academic integrity. Participants will earn co-curricular recognition for attending both sessions.
Materials will be provided through UM Learn. Tutors should register using a University of Manitoba e-mail account. All registrants will receive an e-mail with online training information at least one day before this event.
