This session provides an overview on the use of Data Visualization (including GIS) and how it can be used in the sciences. The session will explore different types of data, compare various software (e.g, Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, QGIS, PowerBI) available to use, and identify potential sources of secondary data that can support your research.

In this session, participants will:
•    Outline a basic overview of available software
•    Discuss Library supports
•    List methods of how data visualization could be used for data analysis and visualization in Science -related disciplines
•    Locate potential secondary data to include in your analyses
