This one-hour workshop focuses on basic and some advanced features of searching in the Scopus database. Attendees will learn to search for papers, conference proceedings, and more by topic, and learn how to find information using authors and affiliations. A live demonstration will provide hands-on examples for participants, providing tips and tricks on usage and how to use some of the more advanced functionality.
Other basics of working in Scopus that will be covered include:
• Using cited reference searching to find similar articles and follow citations over time
• Setting up search alerts to notify you when new papers are available
• Viewing publications and managing your author profile
