The Academic Learning Centre offers tutor training for content tutors at the University of Manitoba. This training involves two online sessions on September 19 and 26. Training focuses on the role of a tutor, the tutoring cycle, scaffolding strategies, intercultural tutoring, and academic integrity. Participants will earn co-curricular recognition for attending both sessions.
Materials will be provided through UM Learn. Registration is not required for this event. Attendance at our September 19th session is a prerequisite for attending this second session.
