The Academic Learning Centre (ALC) offers tutor training for any content tutors at the University of Manitoba. This training session is a six-hour workshop and involves sessions on the role of a tutor, the tutoring cycle, scaffolding strategies, intercultural tutoring, and understanding the learning process. Participants will earn co-curricular recognition for attending the entire day. Tutor training will take place from 9:00-4:00 p.m. Please note that lunch is not provided.
