Trends in Scholarly Communication, Open Access, and Open Data

Canada’s grant agencies (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) encourage researchers to publish in Open Access journals and develop data management plans and in some domains, require deposit of research data in an established publicly available archive or repository. In this workshop, we will look at the ins and out of publishing in Open Access journals and review the key components of data management plans and solutions for sharing your data.

Note: This session is only available to University of Manitoba graduate students.
